The client’s home before improvement:

|
This house was built about 1900 and originally had three
bedrooms, two reception rooms and a kitchen. There would have
been a toilet in the attached outhouse, and bathing would
have been carried out in a tub in the kitchen. Apart from
connection to gas and electricity, the only alterations were
to build a flat-roofed extension to the kitchen in place of
the outhouse to serve as the bathroom, and to knock the two
reception rooms into one.
|
· A loft bedroom with en-suite bathroom
· A first floor family bathroom
· A quiet room on the ground floor
· A utility room and cloakroom
· To replace the flat roof
· A conservatory for future connection with the kitchen
· To open up the hall and 2nd reception room

and what they thought about it ...

'The transformation is amazing. The house is now so light and
spacious and we are really delighted with the effect of the dormers
on the exterior. It has proved a very worthwhile and satisfactory
project...'
